Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fine motor skills and distance hearing for equipment.
• Bloodborne pathogen exposure with glove use.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter/exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors and manage reactions during donation.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vitals and enter data in the DIS system.
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors via Debit Card.
• Support center management in continuous improvement initiatives.
