Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Sr. Utilities Engineer to provide hands-on support for critical plant utility systems in our Georgia facility.

You will troubleshoot, monitor performance, and drive reliability across cooling towers, chillers, boilers, HVAC, water systems, and gases. You will partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Validation to resolve issues, lead studies, and manage capital projects from concept to implementation, while supporting preventive maintenance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years relevant engineering experience.
Knowledge of cGMP/ASME/OSHA/EPA/ISPE helpful.
Experience with capital projects and utility management.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on engineering support for plant utility systems and troubleshoot.
Monitor performance and improve reliability, capacity, efficiency, maintainability, and manufacturing continuity.
Partner cross-functionally to resolve issues.
Lead studies, specifications, assessments, design packages, and capital projects from concept to implementation.
Support preventive/predictive maintenance, asset reliability, root-cause investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities to reduce energy, water, waste, downtime, and operating costs; support sustainability goals.
Support commissioning/qualification/validation, change controls, SOPs, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
Coordinate contractors/vendors; act as SME; support after-hours/weekend needs for 24/7 operations.
