Job summary

Arizona Public Service seeks a Long-Term Plant Reliability Engineer III/Senior to ensure the long‑term reliability of critical power generation assets at PVNGS. You will apply engineering analysis, data interpretation and strategic planning to keep energy systems safe and efficient.

You will analyze plant performance, develop long‑range asset plans, evaluate proposals and studies, and provide technical guidance to the team.

Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, IE A-recognized or ABET MRA, with five years of engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer licensure is preferred and listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering plans, designs, analyses, specifications and cost estimates.
• Ensures design, regulatory, operating and maintenance requirements are met.
• Provides technical guidance and leadership to engineers and teams.
• Interfacing with customers and management to meet objectives, budgets and schedules.
• May manage small- to medium-scale projects and coordinate across departments.
