As a trusted technical subject matter expert, you will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree plus eight years in engineering roles.
• Master's degree may substitute for one year of required experience; PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and applies creative engineering solutions for broad technical issues.
• Prepares complex plans, analyses, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensures designs and investigations comply with standards and regulations.
• Interacts with customers and management to align objectives, scope, and schedules.
• Provides leadership and guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Critically challenges assumptions to identify optimal approaches.
• Leverages resources to resolve key technical issues and regulatory considerations.
• Plans large projects or coordinates multiple programs as a technical expert.
• Monitors progress and negotiates contracts or revisions as needed.
• Researches new technologies and assesses their feasibility for operations.
