Job summary

NVR, Inc. in Prince George, VA is seeking a Senior Plant Production Manager to lead and optimize production across multiple value streams at the Prince George plant.

You will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement while coaching a team of managers, supervisors, and hourly employees. Responsibilities include coordinating with Materials, Scheduling, Logistics, and Maintenance; managing staffing and budgets; analyzing data to improve plant metrics; and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with lean and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and scheduling for multiple value streams to ensure flow.
• Coordinate with Materials, Scheduling and Logistics for balanced schedules.
• Forecast staffing needs and allocate resources to meet metrics.
• Align with Quality and Brand goals; participate in audits.
• Cross-train value streams and coordinate with other functions.
• Provide safety leadership, training, and audits.
• Analyze data to drive improvements and key metric achievement.
• Support maintenance and capital planning for downtime reduction.
• Manage multi-plant spend and pursue cost savings.
• Resolve escalated issues and document resolutions.
• Develop a high-performing team and succession pipeline.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and factory expansions.
