Job summary

NVR, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing leadership leader to guide plant operations, facilities management, and cross-functional teams at the Prince George, VA site. You will develop plans to meet yearly objectives, lead optimization efforts, and coach managers toward performance excellence.

The role emphasizes safety, cost control, and strategic collaboration with accounting, homebuilding operations, procurement, HR, and other departments to drive improvements and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.
• MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Excellent problem-analysis and strategic planning abilities.
• Experience communicating effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Outstanding collaboration and conflict management abilities.
• Strong commitment to Customer Service.
• Excellent reliability, with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to other NVR plants and locations, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to meet or exceed the plant’s yearly business objectives, initiatives, productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
• Lead and manage teams while promoting a positive work environment and staffing plans.
• Lead, mentor, and coach managers to identify growth opportunities and training needs.
• Ensure effective communication between day and night shifts across all levels.
• Demonstrate active involvement in the plant safety program and audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-control measures.
• Drive capital improvements and strategic initiatives with the leadership team.
• Maintain alignment with NVR’s Brand Promise and cross-functional collaboration.
