NDS is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to lead a designated production area, ensuring production goals in volume, cost, quality, and safety are met. The role involves coordinating staff, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, excellent communication, and experience in training and supervising operators, with a focus on maintaining high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

Formación

• Five to seven years of previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional and weld prints is not explicitly required here; primary emphasis is on leadership and plant operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all management levels.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making abilities.
• Good organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Ability to train, motivate, coach, and provide constructive feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily production in designated area to meet volume, cost, quality, and safety goals.
• Coordinate staff, assign duties, and optimize workflow across shifts.
• Ensure machine setups meet production and quality targets and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and company policies; enforce PPE usage and safety procedures.
• Interface with Quality, Engineering, Payroll, HR, and Management to resolve issues.
• Train operators and new employees on procedures and inspections; supervise adherence to work instructions.
• Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement in output and safety.
