Job summary

LP Building Solutions is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee plant operations on the designated shift, ensuring safety, quality and environmental compliance. You will lead a production team, manage schedules, train staff, and support key site initiatives.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, supervisory experience, and a solid understanding of safety and environmental policies. A high school diploma or GED is required, with post-secondary education preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Production/Manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years post high school education strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental requirements.
• Ability to interpret and apply HR, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all employees and contractors by driving continuous improvement toward a true safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, maintenance and manufacturing policies during the shift.
• Support site business plan, deploy goals and performance measures for area of responsibility.
• Supervise mill department staff, manage schedules and daily assignments, coach and develop team.
• Assist with hiring, interviewing, and orientation processes.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain records accurately and timely.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and safety committees.
• Drive process improvement, cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
