Job summary

Novus Foods, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production and packaging through the schedule, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and coach staff toward plant targets.

In this hands-on role, you will supervise a diverse team, collaborate with maintenance, sanitation, warehouse and logistics, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and plant safety requirements.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3-5 years’ experience in food processing and/or third-party food regulatory/third party auditing
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Proven Supervisory or Team Lead experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are required (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Written and Verbal Communication

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production and packaging operations to meet plant targets.
• Coordinate with sanitation, warehouse, logistics, and maintenance on initiatives.
• Attend daily and weekly operations meetings and escalate issues.
• Develop root cause analyses and corrective action plans based on shift data.
• Communicate shift performance and support needs during daily huddles.
• Supervise and lead production associates and line leads; promote teamwork.
• Maintain shift visual management tools and complete shift end reports.
