Job summary

RigUp, Inc. is seeking a Senior level plant operator to monitor and operate the plant from a control room. This role acts as a technical/functional specialist, coordinating others while not being a supervisor. Location is Kenedy, TX with a 7 Days On/7 Days Off (12Hr Days) schedule.

The candidate will oversee surveillance of equipment, maintain logs, prepare equipment for maintenance, and drive continuous improvements. Strong technical experience and adherence to HSE programs are required.

Qualifications

• Senior level, typically 7+ years of experience.
• Provides more technical support than administrative support.
• Ability to apply extensive knowledge and experience to a wide variety of situations.
• Technical/functional specialist in discipline.

Responsibilities

• Responsibly and consistently monitor and operate the plant through a control room
• Conduct surveillance of operating equipment and critical parameters, while keeping accurate operations logs
• May prepare equipment for maintenance and perform maintenance and preventative inspections
• Identify improvement opportunities and work with others to implement changes
• Support and comply with the policies, goals, efforts, and programs of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System
• Recommend solutions to complex problems
• Perform major accountabilities
• Coordinate the work of others in the technical/functional area
