Job summary

Human Capital Ventures is assisting a global plastics manufacturer in Anderson, SC to hire a Maintenance Manager who will lead the maintenance function across the facility, driving equipment reliability and uptime.

You will oversee preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance, CMMS, and TPM initiatives, shaping the maintenance budget, safety compliance, and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• Proven maintenance leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience in plastics, blow molding, injection molding or automotive manufacturing desirable.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance.
• Strong multi-craft maintenance management across mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, PLC and automation systems.
• Working knowledge of CMMS platforms, maintenance planning, work-order management, and equipment-maintenance records.
• Experience improving equipment reliability, OEE, uptime, MTBF, MTTR, and planned maintenance compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, spare-parts inventory, contractors, suppliers, and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team with clear performance expectations and development plans.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and work-order execution via CMMS.
• Monitor KPI such as uptime, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance compliance.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop annual maintenance plans and coordinate shutdowns to minimize production disruption.
• Oversee maintenance of production equipment, utilities, HVAC, and facilities infrastructure.
• Lead TPM and Industrie 4.0 initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Support automation, controls, and capital projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
