Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Senior Maintenance/Engineering leader to drive maintenance performance and infrastructure improvements across assigned manufacturing locations.

You will provide technical support to maintenance and engineering leaders, collaborating with operations and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The role emphasizes developing predictive maintenance strategies, overseeing capital projects, and mentoring maintenance staff while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• BS in engineering strongly preferred.
• 8+ years proven leadership in maintenance or engineering.
• Knowledge of financial indicators/analysis and capital planning, fixed asset management and budget development/management.
• Basic personal computer skills including Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint; familiarity with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Maintenance Process with KPI metrics such as downtime, cost, turnover and schedule adherence.
• Act as communication conduit for support groups (Engineering, HR, Procurement and Vendors).
• Backfill Maintenance Manager positions when needed.
• Develop succession plans and staffing requirements for the group facilities.
• Lead problem solving and Blitz activities across facilities; oversee capital projects.
