Job summary

Tyson Foods, Newbern Plant in Tennessee, seeks a Maintenance Manager II to oversee utility systems and building infrastructure, including capital planning and daily maintenance activities.

You'll manage an annual capital budget and a maintenance & repair budget, supervise a ~70 FTE engineering/maintenance team, and coordinate projects with site leadership to drive strategic improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Develop, maintain, implement and report capital budget for manufacturing facility associated with utilities and building infrastructure.
• Responsible for managerial oversight and technical support to facility managed capital projects.
• Continuous development of strategic facility and maintenance strategy associated with utilities and building infrastructure.
• Develop and provide technical maintenance support systems and processes.
• Develop and implement process improvements and infrastructure projects.
• Assist in manufacturing strategic planning.
• Key member of overall facility Engineering & Maintenance organization.
• Ensures compliance with environmental regulations; experience with government regulations and PSM.

Responsibilities

• Promotes new job methods and procedures; maintains productivity improvement systems for utilities and buildings.
• Oversees scheduling of all utility systems and infrastructure projects and manages labor variance.
• Provides guidance to facility-based engineering staff and manages capital budget execution.
