Job summary

3M in Corona, CA is seeking a Senior Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations, safety, and continuous improvement. This role drives EHS ownership, lean implementation, and costing improvements across the site, partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize production and capital planning.

You will manage supply chain execution, inventory, and community relations while ensuring compliance and guiding a team of supervisors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher verified prior to start.
Three years supervisory/management experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Five years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Certified LSS BB or MBB in Operations Management.
Union experience a plus.
Expert knowledge and experience in production management, lean manufacturing and materials control.
Strong communication and change management skills.
Prior Plant Manager experience.

Responsibilities

Owns and leads EHS compliance, site stewardship and continuous improvement efforts to enhance site performance.
Drives strategic planning and budgeting to reduce factory costs through Lean Six Sigma, yield improvement, and capital planning.
Implements lean manufacturing principles, TPM, 5S and standard work to engage employees and improve processes.
Oversees supply chain execution and inventory management to ensure responsive, on-time performance.
Represents 3M with key accounts and engages with the local community.
