Job summary

3M is seeking a Senior Supervisor Manufacturing Operations in Valley-NE to lead manufacturing teams in a safety-driven, lean-focused environment. You will drive staffing decisions, prioritize work, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer needs.

The role requires multiple years of supervisory and manufacturing operations experience, with Lean certification being a plus. Expect a demanding schedule with potential travel and relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Five (5) years of manufacturing operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Experience leading teams with a focus on safety and lean operations.
• Lean certification or Black Belt experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class safety culture across the operations.
• Lead employees through a culture of respectful behaviors and teamwork.
• Determine staffing and prioritization to ensure service to customers.
• Implement the LEAN execution model and support organizational transitions.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset focused on safety, productivity and IR relations.
• Engage the team to align to the strategic plan and drive results.
• Be available to respond to operational issues seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
