3M in Corona, CA is seeking a Senior Plant Manager to lead manufacturing excellence at a high-volume site. You will drive EHS ownership, lean initiatives, and plant productivity while engaging with key accounts and the local community.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and multiple years of management and manufacturing experience, with Lean Six Sigma expertise and strong change management skills. Onsite TPM, 5S and standard work will be essential to delivering results.

• Three (3) years of supervisory and/or management experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Certified LSS BB or MBB is a plus.

• Active and visible EHS ownership to ensure site compliance, stewardship and championing continuous improvement efforts to improve all aspects of EHS.
• Accountable for strategic planning and budgeting to drive sustainable improvements in factory cost through application of Lean Six Sigma, entitlement thinking, yield improvement, plant productivity and capital planning.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodology to drive employee engagement and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on TPM, 5S and Standard work.
• Managing supply chain execution and inventory management to ensure appropriate supply chain performance through responsiveness, delivery performance, capacity management, supplier management, and appropriate inventory management.
• Represent 3M and engage with key accounts.
• Engaging the community by representing 3M in community affairs as appropriate and foster good public relations in the local community.

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of supervisory and/or management experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Certified LSS BB or MBB
• Experience in Operations Management
• Union experience a plus
• Expert knowledge and experience in production management, lean manufacturing and materials control
• Strong Communication and Change Management skills
• Experience in Lean manufacturing methodologies in driving value stream improvement.
