Job description

Reporting to the EMEA Consumer Supply Chain Finance Director, this role operates as a crucial support of the Factory Management Team, to ensure a robust internal control environment, compliant with SOX. Business partnering the Manufacturing team to improve performance of the site through effective management reporting, challenging status quo, building efficient investment business cases and process optimisation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure accurate and timely production of monthly reporting pack including review with Factory Management. Challenge and investigate material and spend variances with factory management / supply chain teams.
  2. Co-pilot and finance business partner for Plant Director, CEE Financial Director and Factory Management Team.
  3. Co-ordinate quarterly forecasting and annual budget process in conjunction with factory management and production planning.
  4. Business partnering, development and financial evaluation for new investments projects in the plant (CAPEX).
  5. Proactive pursuit, development and execution of key initiatives and Cost Improvement (CCI) programs.
  6. Provide oversight and guidance on the development of new products, portfolio changes, repatriation programs in conjunction with NPD, planning and operations and provide insights to commercial teams in order to improve profitability.
  7. Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.
  8. Maintain and review SAP master data.
  9. As finance business partner take ownership of accounting issues relating to the site. Ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place and that the site is SOX compliant.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  2. Working knowledge of a fully integrated financial/ERP system essential (SAP preferred).
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of ABC (activity based costings).
  4. Personal and team leadership skills, with proven ability to build, influence and sustain relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  5. Strong analytical skills.
  6. Able to handle complexity and achieve results.
  7. Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Advanced Excel skills.
