Job summary

Watts Water in Hutchinson, KS, hosts the Watts Applied Solutions finance team led by a senior Controller. This on-site role partners with plant leadership to drive accurate accounting, strong internal controls, and strategic cost management across manufacturing operations.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory reporting, while coordinating with corporate controllership and external auditors to ensure compliance and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
• 10+ years in finance/controllership within large manufacturing environments.
• Strong SOX, GAAP, and internal control knowledge.
• Experience with POC accounting and public company reporting.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting for plant operations and corporate objectives.
• Establish internal controls, policies and compliance processes.
• Provide forecasts, analyses and reporting for executives.
• Partner with plant leadership on pricing, profitability and cost management.
• Enhance budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
• Ensure statutory reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Develop financial models for opportunities and partnerships.
• Support SOX controls and audit remediation plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
• Oversee project accounting and revenue recognition milestones.
