Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the Americas accounting team. You will manage monthly closes, financial reporting, AR, and internal controls, while partnering with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to drive scalable improvements.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, 7+ years of experience, and prior supervision. Hybrid work in Escondido, CA with onsite 3 days/week and remote 2 days/week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
7+ years progressive accounting experience.
2+ years supervisory or process leadership.
ERP system experience (Epicor preferred).
GAAP and SOX compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with reconciliations and schedules.
Oversee billing, collections, AR aging, and DSO performance.
Maintain balance sheet integrity and internal controls documentation.
Support financial statements and external reporting requirements.
Drive process improvements and system enhancements in finance tools.
