Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking an experienced engineer to perform advanced engineering tasks and projects under supervision in the United States. You will apply engineering knowledge to safely and economically achieve objectives, coordinate team efforts, and contribute to planning and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in engineering (ABET). PE licensure is encouraged, with preference given to those holding an ABET-accredited degree program,

Qualifications

• Has typically acquired 4 or more years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 2 years of related engineering experience with a Master’s or PhD in engineering from an ABET-accredited program preferred.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the US is encouraged and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advance engineering work and projects under supervision.
• Coordinate work activities of others to resolve routine tasks.
• Apply understanding of codes, standards, and regulations relevant to the area.
• Contribute to planning, scheduling, and cost estimation for routine projects.
• Communicate findings clearly in reports and presentations.
