Qualifications

Has typically acquired 4 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in an ABET-accredited program; or 2 years with a Master's or PhD from an ABET-accredited program.
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is encouraged and preferred.
Alternative: a non-ABET Bachelor's in engineering plus a Master's/PhD from an ABET-accredited Bachelor's program may satisfy requirements.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering theory to solve well-defined problems and perform analyses with guidance from senior engineers.
Assist higher-level engineers on portions of more complex problems and analyses.
Coordinate work activities of others to resolve routine engineering tasks.
Prepare routine project planning documents, including budgeting and scheduling considerations.
Communicate findings effectively in reports and technical papers, in writing and verbally.
