Meritas Advisory Group, LLC in Wilson, North Carolina seeks a Plant Engineer to lead maintenance and engineering in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will oversee building and equipment performance, reduce downtime, optimize product flow, and drive preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, and advanced technology projects.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 8+ years' experience and 2+ years in team leadership or project management.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience; or equivalent
• 2+ years of demonstrated team management or project leadership experience
• Strong leadership, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability
• Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields (PLCs, instrumentation, etc.) and ability to lead resource planning in a large manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of capital projects from concept to completion, managing all elements to minimize disruption and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and food/environmental standards
• Develop and implement cutting-edge maintenance systems, including preventive and predictive maintenance and TPM to maximize downtime reduction
• Manage the maintenance team, delegating tasks and guiding work assignments to ensure efficient, safe operations
• Provide short-term fixes and long-term solutions to operational challenges and equipment failures
• Develop and track KPIs to measure maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement
