Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Phoenix seeks a Chief Engineer (Branch) to oversee daily repair and preventive maintenance of industrial textile processing equipment and facilities. You will supervise staff, coordinate with production, and report to the Branch General Manager.

The role requires five years of maintenance engineering experience, strong electrical skills, PLC programming, and willingness to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in maintenance engineering with machinery, electricity, hydraulics.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting of 3-phase 230-volt systems.
• PLC programming experience.
• Experience with boilers and welding.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all operating equipment in satisfactory condition.
• Supervises engineering staff and coordinates with production, sales, and service.
• Cost-effectively manages spare parts inventories.
• Implements a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoots electrical issues and diagnoses problems.
• Ensures safety and trains staff in maintenance procedures.
