Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Yuma, AZ seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to support the Chief Engineer by maintaining and repairing industrial laundry equipment. This hands-on role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety while guiding technicians.

Responsibilities include CMMS documentation, coordinating with production, and reading schematics to ensure minimal downtime. Growth opportunities exist with emphasis on training and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance documentation systems.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs on industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, boilers, and related systems.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and support PM schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to maintenance technicians and assist with prioritizing work.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and production leadership to align maintenance with operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.
