Job summary

Addison Group SoCal is seeking a hands‑on Plant Controller for a high‑growth global manufacturing business in Los Angeles. You will partner with Operations and Finance to drive cost accounting enhancements, standard costing, and capital expenditure analysis while mentoring a cost accounting team.

Reporting to the CFO, you will translate plant data into actionable business insight, strengthen inventories and fixed assets reporting, and support budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience in manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel, data mining, and ERP/reporting systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the cost accounting function for a growing manufacturing business.
• Create, roll, and maintain cost/overhead standards with variance analysis.
• Strengthen product-cost, margins, and manufacturing reporting (IFRS).
• Mentor a cost accounting team and work with site leadership.
