Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for a multi-site manufacturing organization. The role partners with operations and executive leadership to drive profitability and financial discipline.

The ideal candidate has extensive manufacturing finance experience, SAP expertise, and a proven track record in cost accounting, inventory, and multi-entity reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Controller or senior accounting leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and finance across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Oversee month-, quarter-, year-end close and reporting.
• Manage inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliation.
• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting: standard costs, variances, COGS.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across entities.
• Use SAP to manage financial, inventory, and ops data.
• Partner with operations to drive profitability.
• Improve accounting policies, internal controls, and processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Develop and motivate the accounting team.
• Support audits and external reporting.
