Legacy Search Advisors is seeking a hands-on Plant Controller / Head of Cost Accounting for a growing manufacturing and distribution leader. You will partner with Operations and Executive Leadership to drive operational excellence, cost insight, and data-driven decisions on inventory, costing, and performance.

This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations on a fast-growing site, with opportunities to influence processes, build robust cost systems, and help scale the business

Qualifications

• Cost accounting and product costing experience in manufacturing.
• Strong manufacturing finance background supporting plant operations.
• Experience with inventory controls and reconciliation processes.
• Proficient in variance analysis and operational performance metrics.
• Root-cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial leadership for plant operations, ensuring inventory, costing, and manufacturing performance are accurately reflected in financials.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, maintenance, procurement and finance to improve visibility, identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive results.
