Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Cary, NC seeks a senior Manager, Project Controls (Planning) to lead client relationships and drive high-level schedules and resource plans for large capital programs. You will collaborate with cost leads and project controls to build and report schedules through early lifecycle phases.

The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and mentoring skills, with experience in Primavera P6 or MS Project, and the ability to lead teams in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• 10+ years of related experience as a planner/scheduler on capital projects.
• Expertise using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Must have exemplary communication skills—oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large scale capital programs; interface with stakeholders as trusted advisor.
• Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules aligned with goals.
• Plan and coordinate all Owner scope activities within integrated project schedule.
• Integrate all third-party plans and schedules into the project schedule.
• Prepare baseline schedules, progress schedules, and what-if schedules.
• Establish schedule analysis and reporting metrics for senior management and project team.
