Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Manager for the Sentinel Project Controls organization in Ogden, UT. You will establish and maintain scheduling requirements, mentor a team, apply advanced scheduling methodologies, and ensure schedules meet standards and EVMS alignment.

You will lead schedule analysis, oversee reporting to leadership and client, coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction, and help deliver high-quality, execution-ready schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience (or 14–17 years for equivalent).
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident per contract requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and complex scheduling for engineering/construction projects.
• Strong leadership and ability to train and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to leadership and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring across the project.
• Establish and implement planning standards and procedures for consistent execution.
• Lead schedule analysis, problemsolving, and performance studies; provide diagnostic guidance.
• Oversee reporting to project and client leadership on schedule status.
• Mentor planning staff and participate in hiring and career development.
