Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager Program Planning and Scheduling 3 to lead the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. The role oversees EVMS-compliant scheduling across multiple departments and drives continuous improvement while coordinating with engineering, finance, and contracts.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Oracle Primavera P6, EVMS, and leadership of large, high-visibility programs, with U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent) with 8+ years related experience; 6+ years with Master’s; or 12+ years with HS diploma in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years’ experience with Oracle Primavera P6.
• Experience leading planning/scheduling teams on large-scale programs.
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and EVMS-compliant scheduling practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the program planning and scheduling process.
• Act as the SME for program planning and scheduling tools, focusing on Oracle Primavera P6.
• Lead and develop the planning and scheduling team: digital transformation and tool optimization, training and development, proposal and strategy support, IPMDAR-related scheduling, process development and training, daily guidance to the Sentinel scheduling organization.
• Drive compliance, metrics, and continual improvement; establish schedule metrics and analytics to drive excellence.
• Support program execution through partnerships and Earned Value Management; ensure schedules meet evolving requirements and are integrated with EVMS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to ensure compliant schedule management; advise on integrating schedules with EVMS and respond to findings.
