Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Planning Practice Lead for the Southwest Region to join our team in El Paso, TX or Albuquerque, NM. You will lead a growing planning and mobility practice, mentor staff, win work, and manage multi-disciplinary projects for federal, state, local and tribal clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, client development, reliable delivery, and collaboration with national teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning required or related field.
• AICP or PE certification preferred.
• 10+ years leading planning teams and managing projects.
• Experience in transportation, land use, and multimodal planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor staff, develop leadership pipelines, allocate resources.
• Serve as Senior Project Manager for diverse projects and clients.
• Coordinate work to meet schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Communicate with federal, state, local, tribal and private clients.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work and fee estimates.
