Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Civil Engineer to design and model roadways and lead project tasks.

You will collaborate with experienced designers and managers, work with subconsultants, and support regional projects primarily in New Mexico, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. Candidates should have a PE license or be eligible within 6 months, plus 1–4 years of streets and highways design experience.

Wilson & Company’s Southwest Team is seeking a Roadway professional with experience in the design of transportation infrastructure, notably streets, highways, and interstates.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Perform roadway design and modeling
• Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes
• Work with experienced designers and project managers, as well as collaborating with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects
• Primarily working on projects in New Mexico with opportunities to support regional projects
• Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• New Mexico Professional Engineer licensed or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 1-4 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations.
• Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
• A background in traffic engineering design and H&H design can be helpful in this role.
  
  

Annual Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000
