Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Planning Practice Lead for the Southwest Region, based in El Paso, TX or Albuquerque, NM. The role leads a growing planning team, builds client relationships, wins work, and manages projects, with opportunities to scale with experience.

You will collaborate with a national team of planning & mobility professionals, mentoring staff, and driving major planning initiatives for federal, state, local, and tribal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, or related field. Advanced degrees welcomed.
• AICP or PE certification preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience leading a team of professionals and allocating staff resources.
• 10+ years’ experience in transportation, land use, and multimodal planning.
• Project and task management with proven on-time and on-budget delivery.

Responsabilités

• Lead, supervise and mentor staff and delegate resources.
• Serve as Senior Project Manager for multiple projects and clients.
• Oversee and coordinate team efforts to ensure quality that meets client expectations.
• Communicate with federal, state, local, tribal, and private clients.
• Mentor staff and ensure adequate resources to achieve goals.
• Develop project proposals, scopes of services, and fee proposals.
