The purpose of this position is to be a hands-on leader for the strategic planning and coordination for assigned business units. The Sr Planning Manager Will Be Responsible For the Following:

1. Develop and implement strategies for demand forecasting, inventory control, and replenishment, ensuring product availability and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory
2. Hands-on leader for end-to-end supply planning, aligning demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory targets
3. Contribute to the S&OP process by creating accurate forecasts and supply plans that support the company's objectives
4. Lead and contribute to team, cross functional, and management meetings
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and optimize inventory

The Sr Planning Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field required
2. 4+ years of relevant work experience in an inventory planning and replenishment role
3. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and solve problems effectively
4. Highly developed interpersonal skills with exceptional written and verbal communication
5. Computer proficiency on all MS Office applications including ERP & MRP systems
6. MUST have experience in a manufacturing/production environment (CPG preferably)

This is a full time permanent position that will operate on a fully on-site schedule (5x in office)
