I. Main Purpose of the Role:
The Financial Planning Manager oversees all corporate projections, providing analysis of technical, administrative, and significant impacts. The ideal candidate has an analytical approach, tactical awareness, and excellent interpersonal skills.
II. Job Responsibilities or Duties:
- Gather and analyze data to monitor and improve the organization's financial status.
- Analyze market conditions through securities transactions and price lists.
- Review financial reporting structures, accounting procedures, and investment activities; recommend improvements.
- Draft operational and risk reports for management analysis.
- Facilitate risk management and insurance programs to minimize risks and losses.
- Manage cash flow and financial instruments.
- Develop and oversee procedures to safeguard assets, records, loan collateral, and securities.
- Review, assess, and oversee loan applications; facilitate approval or rejection of credits and loans.
- Review collection reports, determine status and amounts, and refer delinquent accounts appropriately.
- Prepare and present financial reports as required by policies and regulations.
- Plan and prepare departmental budgets.
- Participate in networking to locate and recruit new business.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers and clients.
- Gather and provide financial information to stakeholders and assist in capital raising efforts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
III. Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum five years of related experience.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
IV. Desired Skills:
- Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and policies in the financial and banking industry.
- Ability to analyze financial documents, identify trends, risks, and weaknesses.
- Excellent management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
