Job summary

Meta is seeking a construction professional to join our design, engineering, and construction organization in Madison. You will manage early phase projects from due diligence through handoff to preconstruction, while assessing product design, procurement budgets, scheduling, and constructability.

You will partner with leadership and delivery teams to develop roadmaps, identify milestones, and drive risk-aware decisions that optimize cost and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 15+ years direct professional experience in Commercial Management, Preconstruction, Construction Management, Engineering, Scheduling or equivalent.
• Demonstrated communication and coordination skills to lead a team towards a single project outcome.
• Familiar with large capital programs, ground-up construction and greenfield site development as well as retrofit construction.
• Proficiency in Preconstruction: Site Development, Budget Development, Scheduling, Change Management, Risk Management, Negotiation, etc.

Responsibilities

• Build high level Path to Break Ground schedules, factoring site conditions, timing, labor, and design.
• Highlight critical milestones and decision gates for leadership decisions and commitments.
• Contribute to master plan analyses for future sites, including logistics and geotechnical analysis.
• Provide a clean transition of new region/product development from planning to execution teams.
• Set project targets for cost and schedule and coordinate multiple internal and external teams.
