Job summary

Bechtel's Manufacturing & Technology (M&T) unit is designing and building an API manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. The Lead Planner leads planning and scheduling for large, complex projects, maintains integrated schedules, supports forecasting and risk management, and delivers schedule reports to support execution.

The role requires 8–10 years (or 12–14) of relevant experience, strong CPM scheduling knowledge, and expert Primavera P6 proficiency to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 8–10 years (or 12–14) of relevant experience.
• Strong experience developing and analyzing complex integrated project schedules.
• Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling, forecasting, and risk assessment.
• Experience supporting large EPC, EPCM, PMC, or program management projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, maintenance and analysis of integrated EPCCS schedules.
• Ensure schedule alignment with objectives, execution strategies, and milestones.
• Direct collection and evaluation of scope, quantities, staffing, and schedule logic.
• Facilitate planning workshops and coordination across functions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to planners and schedulers.
• Monitor schedule performance, perform critical path analysis and what-if scenarios.
• Provide forecasting insights to support planning and decision-making.
• Develop mitigation and recovery strategies for schedule risks.
• Prepare and present schedule reports and executive analyses.
