Job summary

Lilly is seeking dynamic, curious quantitative scientists to own modeling and simulation on real programs, delivering population PK/PD models and regulatory-ready analyses. You will author analysis plans and reports, and work as a scientific partner, spanning multiple programs within PK/PD & PMx.

You will develop population PK/PD models independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to automation and AI initiatives to accelerate timelines and impact development decisions.

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmacometrics, population pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, computational sciences, engineering, chemistry, statistics or a related modelling area.
• Experience in population PK and/or PK/PD modeling and ability to clearly communicate theories and concepts to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
• Experience using NONMEM (or Monolix), R, and mrgsolve.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, evaluate, and apply population PK and PK/PD models to answer defined development questions, using NONMEM and/or Monolix with R for data handling, diagnostics, and simulation.
• Lead PMx programs: author the analysis plan and the modeling report to regulatory submission standards, owning the end-to-end analysis.
• Provide scientific input on dose, regimen, population, and development strategy, including dose justification and exposure–response analyses.
• Perform quality control and quality review of modeling deliverables and support scientific oversight of vendor analyses.
• Identify potential questions modeling can answer and articulate them clearly.
