Job summary

Lilly is seeking a dynamic Quantitative Scientist to lead population PK/PD modeling for multiple programs. You will own modeling end‑to‑end, draft analysis plans and reports, and partner with regulatory, clinical, and statistics teams to inform dose choices and strategies.

You will apply NONMEM/Monolix with R, advance automation and AI tools, and contribute to scientific strategy and timelines across drug development. This role emphasizes collaboration and scientific judgment.

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmacometrics, population pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, computational sciences, engineering, chemistry, statistics or a related modelling area.
• Experience in population PK and/or PK/PD modeling with clear communication of theories to diverse audiences.
• Experience using software such as NONMEM (or Monolix), R, and mrgsolve.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, evaluate, and apply population PK and PK/PD models using NONMEM/Monolix with R for data handling, diagnostics, and simulation.
• Lead PMx programs: author analysis plans and modeling reports for regulatory submissions.
• Provide input on dose, regimen, patient population, and development strategy including exposure‑response analyses.
• Perform QC/QA of modeling deliverables and support regulatory interactions with vendors.
• Identify novel questions modeling can answer and articulate value.
