Bechtel is seeking a Lead Piping Field Engineer in Chandler, AZ to lead piping field engineering activities on a major project. You will coordinate with multiple teams to ensure design deliverables, construction readiness, and safe, efficient turnover. The role requires strong leadership and expert piping knowledge on complex facilities.

The position emphasizes planning, scheduling, quality control, and seamless integration with design, procurement, and startup teams to meet project goals.

Qualificações

• Skilled in piping field engineering and supervising construction engineering work.
• Knowledge of staffing, training, competency development, and performance feedback.
• Ability to interpret piping drawings, specifications, vendor data, and codes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead assigned piping field engineers and direct piping construction engineering activities.
• Support staffing, requisitions, competency development, training, and performance feedback.
• Maintain clear communication between design and field engineering to align deliverables and priorities.
• Coordinate with construction, subcontractors, project controls, startup, quality, ES&H, and other disciplines on schedules and execution plans.
• Lead piping quantity takeoff, control, reporting, forecasting, and analysis for work planning and manpower.
• Oversee piping work packages, field changes, RFIs, construction drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Review cost and schedule data; support estimates, progress reports, forecasts, and records.
• Direct field material requisitions and review receiving, warehousing, preservation, and issue processes.
