Job summary
Amentum is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer for our Oak Ridge, TN office to lead piping design activities on nuclear project environments. You will guide engineers and designers from concept through detailed design, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on life-changing infrastructure across the United States.
The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, PE, and extensive experience with process piping, codes, and design
Qualifications
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
- Experience designing process piping and gas piping.
- Experience delivering projects from concept through detailed design.
- Strong analytical skills in mechanical and process engineering.
- Experience leading engineers and designers within budgets and schedules.
- Experience with ISO 9000 or NQA-1 quality systems.
- ASME B31.1 and B31.3 and ASME B&PV codes knowledge.
- PE license is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead groups of engineers and designers on projects.
- Deliver projects from concept through detailed design completion.
- Ensure work meets budgets and schedules.
- Support development of life-changing infrastructure at Oak Ridge.
