Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) seeks a Piping Engineer to support the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. The role provides piping design engineering for Category 2 and 3 facilities within CNS Mission Engineering, with emphasis on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will perform pipe stress analyses, develop design outputs, and collaborate across disciplines in a nuclear-regulated environment. Onsite work and secure handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or MS in engineering with 10+ years of professional experience.
• Ability to perform pipe stress analysis.
• Experience with ASME B31.3 and B31.1 preferred.
• DOE/NRC regulated environment experience desirable.
• U.S. citizen; willing to obtain DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide design output documentation to support minor facility modifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and plant organizations to produce timely design output.
