Job summary

A federal contractor is seeking experienced engineering professionals to provide piping design engineering support at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Candidates must hold an ABET accredited degree and have extensive experience in engineering roles. The position involves developing design documentation and requires strong communication skills and familiarity with ASME standards. Qualifications

• Requires an ABET accredited degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and medical exam.
• Position requires the ability to obtain DOE clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide piping design engineering support for production area activities.
• Develop design output documentation for minor facility modifications.
• Work with other engineering disciplines for timely design output.

Skills

Piping design engineering support

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and ASME B31.1

Experience in nuclear regulated environment

Education

ABET accredited BS degree in relevant engineering discipline

MS degree in relevant engineering discipline
