Aecon Engineering Services Inc. (United) seeks an enthusiastic piping designer with experience supporting power generation and heavy industrial projects to Newport, Michigan, at the DTE Fermi Power Plant.

You will help design medium to complex piping systems for projects across the United States and Canada, contributing to reliable, safe infrastructure. Bring an associate degree in piping design and 10+ years of relevant experience, plus proficiency with Plant3D, P&ID, AutoCAD, and Bentley

Qualifications

• Associates degree in piping design or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years in powerplant piping and support design.
• Proficiency with AutoDesk Plant3D, P&ID and AutoCAD.
• Proficient with Bentley MicroStation.

Responsabilités

• Under minimal supervision, design medium to complex mechanical/piping systems using 2D and 3D tools.
• Develop piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs), GA drawings, and isometrics per project specs.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and review vendor documents for accuracy.
• Support design development and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
