Job summary

A leading infrastructure development firm is seeking an experienced Piping Designer to join its team in Charlotte, NC, or Mt. Laurel, NJ. Ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of relevant experience in powerplant piping design, proficiency in AutoDesk Plant3D and AutoCAD, and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of design experience in powerplant piping and support design.
• Experience with 2D and 3D design tools.
• Knowledge of plant mechanical and piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Design medium to complex mechanical / piping systems.
• Prepare drawings following project specifications.
• Develop piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and isometric drawings.

Skills

Mechanical / piping systems design

Proficient with AutoCAD

Proficient with Bentley MicroStation

Education

Associate degree in piping design or equivalent experience
