Job summary

GDH is seeking a Senior Piping Designer/Checker to create precise piping layouts and drawings using 3D CAD systems (CADWorx, PDMS, AVEVA). You will review drawings for accuracy against API, ANSI, and ASME standards, and guide team members as the Discipline Design Lead (DDL), with potential Project Design Lead (PDL) responsibilities.

A Bachelor’s in Engineering and 4+ years of piping design are required. Hybrid office/remote work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline. 4+ years piping design experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD systems (CADWorx, PDMS, AVEVA) and P&IDs.
• Strong attention to detail, safety in design, and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Create piping design layouts, layouts, and drawings using CAD systems.
• Review drawings for accuracy, codes, and safety standards (API, ANSI, ASME).
• Lead discipline design efforts, mentor team members, and coordinate with external designers.
