Job summary

Burrow Global LLC in Baytown, TX is seeking a Principal Lead Piping Designer for a long-term assignment. You will create detailed piping designs and 3D models, collaborating with project managers and discipline leads to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include 3D modeling in SmartPlant 3D, producing isometrics and orthographic drawings, performing clash detection, and maintaining piping documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of piping design experience, with brownfield focus.
• Advanced proficiency in Hexagon's S3D and CAD drafting tools.
• Experience with laser scanning (Leica preferred).
• Piping Designer Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D piping models and generate 2D drawings.
• Perform clash detection and field verification to ensure constructability.
• Support project execution with progress reporting and expediting of piping items.
• Draft and maintain piping documentation and redline P&IDs reflecting project scope.
• Collaborate across disciplines and coordinate model reviews.
• Ensure designs meet standards and quality requirements.
• Assist commissioning and start-up activities.
