Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer for the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. The role focuses on chemical engineering project support, including flowsheet development, analyses, and reports for complex facilities.

Candidates should have a ABET-accredited B.S. in Chemical Engineering, 10–20+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain DOE Q security clearance. United States citizenship required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 10–20+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in process design of complex nuclear or chemical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support chemical engineering projects from scope through conceptual and detailed design.
• Develop flowsheets, process diagrams (P&IDs) and perform analyses and calculations.
• Prepare reports, studies and Process Descriptions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (ABET accredited)
