A woman-owned engineering firm in Oak Ridge is seeking a piping design engineer with over 10 years of experience in ASME B31.3 Process Piping Design. The ideal candidate will produce design output documentation, work with various engineering disciplines, and possess strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Requires an ABET accredited BS degree in a relevant Engineering discipline plus 10 or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively.
• Experience in NRC or DOE regulated environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide design output documentation to support major facility modifications and project engineering.
• Work with other engineering disciplines to produce timely design output.
• Perform field walk-downs and work in a production environment.

10+ years in ASME B31.3 Process Piping Design

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to interface with various clients

Experience in NRC or DOE regulated environment

Education

ABET accredited BS degree in Engineering

MA or MS with 7+ years of experience
