A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer for a DOE-backed nuclear project in Oak Ridge, TN. The role involves leading the mechanical design process, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations, and coordinating with various teams. Candidates should have a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, extensive experience, and ideally a PE License. This position is full-time and based in the United States.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years' work experience in mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years in a Lead/Sr position.
• PE License (current or able to obtain in first 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts for a DOE-backed nuclear project.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for code compliance.
• Oversee mechanical deliverables for EPC contractors and vendors.
